Multifamily Apartment Acronyms-Can you add to this list?

I am really not sure who I am writing the blog post for, me or you.  However I thought it would be kind of cool to have a list of multifamily acronyms listed and their long version listed all in one place.  Maybe you will have some of your own to add at the bottom.  Even outside the industry we run across acronyms we kind of wonder about.  So for all of us with acronym deficiency syndrome (ADS), here is my list.  Let’s start with some common industry acronyms. Enjoy!

    Jonathan, probably a different path than you were headed down; acronyms have mushroomed in the age of only 140 characters allowed on Twitter.

    Suggest we begin with the following;

    1. TXTSPK – “Text Speak.” A strange foreign language that I had no choice but to learn-my teens were enjoying my total bewilderment at what they were communicating about me. Rosetta Stone doesn't sell CD's teaching this…YET.

    2. LOL – “Laugh out Loud.” I used to think it meant, “Relax” as in “She lolls her head around.” I'm an idiot.

    3. Y/T? – I used to think it meant, “Yo, T!” Duh. It means “You there?”

    4. WTF – “Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.” My Mom would whup up on me if she thought I meant anything else.

    5. LMAO – “Letting My Angst Out.” Again, gutter talk is unacceptable as per my Mom.

    6. IM – “Instant Message”. Finally, I got one right.

    7. N00B – A nickname for people who don't play online WarGames. Here's using the word in a sentence – “I don't care if I'm a N00B.”

    8. OMG – “Oh my Goodness.” An exclamation by Shirley Temple.

    9. RKR – “ROCKER.” Flexible word for SuperStars or Grandma's.

    And My Personal Fave:

    10. Wiki – “Quick and Efficient” in Hawaiian. Used in a sentence; “Those folks at RentWiki R RKR's delivering OMG IM's from Legit Leads WTF. They're having a Killer Party in NO for NAA. Time to LMAO. Only N00B's will miss it. Y/T ? LOL UR BFF.

    Bonus one: DOH! – Means “DOH!” I use it a lot.
