A Movement for Multifamily Careers-The Peggy Waskom Super Bowl

On February 9th 2010, months of hard work paid off with this multifamily WOW event. Property management companies, professionals and university students came together for a great cause to promote future education in the multifamily industry.  The day after the event, Dr. Debbie Phillips, Executive Director of GAIEF and a committee member of the Peggy Waskom Super Bowl sent the committee the following email.

Dear Friends! Tonight was a total WOW! Hopefully you felt the same emotion and had the opportunity to talk to our students from all colleges and even some high school students. I’ve already gotten many text messages from the students and they loved spending time OUT OF THE CLASSROOM and see the energy and enthusiasm of every last one of you!!! Now they get it! They hear me talk about our synergy and camaraderie but now it is real to them.

There is a valuable lesson to be learned even at bowling event… “if you get people committed to one common goal, they will move mountains for its success!” Trust me, we will be forever grateful for your enthusiasm, your dedication and your admiration for truly a great leader in our industry. There is no better person than Peggy to represent our mission and education initiative!! ~~Debbie Phillips
